Adelaide Branch"
Our Aim
The Royal Aeronautical
Society aims to maintain the general advancement of Aeronautical
Art, Science, and Engineering so as to promote the knowledge
which distinguishes the profession of Aeronautics. The Adelaide
Branch activities aim to support this strategy through members
collective development, Individual development, and by affecting
ongoing interest in aerospace. The Branch utilises outputs such
as lectures, visits, conferences, mentoring, and professional
relations to ensure a more holistic community results.
Membership within the
society is drawn from a diverse range of organisations and
disciplines. As well as designers, pilots, and engineers,
members include cabin crew, ground crew, air traffic
controllers, manufacturing staff, educators, doctors, lawyers,
students, planners, marketers, journalists, and many others. For

Lectures/Member
Gatherings
Unless otherwise
advised, most lectures will be held at the
Institute of Engineers Australia building, 11 Bagot St, North Adelaide.
Events typically start 5:30pm for
6:15 with light refreshments from 5:45.

Committee Meetings
The Adelaide Branch Committee meets
at 6.00pm on the first Tuesday of each month at Vipac in Adelaide City.
