The Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) in Australia has agreements with Engineers Australia regarding mutual recognition and professional development. RAeS acts as a Technical Society of Engineers Australia in aerospace matters, whilst also providing resources to assist with accreditation of aerospace engineering degrees and interview panels for Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
Some engineers may choose to gain Chartered Engineer (CEng) status in the UK, and the Royal Aeronautical Society is an authorised organisation to assess engineers for this recognition.
